Zelfzien - Productexpeditions for the curious consumer

Recent growth in sustainability labels and quality marks, begs the question what differiates them for eachother. An effect of this growth is, that consumers (and companies) have lost sight of the means behind these marks. Zelfzien is a services that aims to improve quality controll in the production sector by activating consumers and enable them to experience the complete productionprocess for themselfs.

The idea

Don't put your trust in the hundreds of marks that tell one thing but does the other. Zelfzien will help you to see the production process behind brands for yourself. And who better to trust then your own judgement.

Zelfzien Live Expeditions

Curious consumers can sign up for Live Expeditions to several brands and thier production-process. Selected in teams (and geared-up) they will research and document everything on the visit.

Live @ home

During the visit, consumers at home can communicate with the team on location. The Live@home app enables them to chat, enter a 360 degree view of the location and switch between the personal Gopro camera's of the team-players.

The Map

The map will help users at home to navigate throug the location and shows information about the terrain. On top of that users can switch to all camera's while using the map.

Every activity is pin-pointed on the timeline

The Ranking

During the expeditions, teamplayers and online users have several ranking-moments. They rank certain subjects divided in the catogories: Mens, Milieu & Wetenschap. The ultimate score shows what brands are willing to do for their customers.

The website

All data collected from the team & users at home are documented and placed on the website for later reviewing. View the zelfzien concept-site here.

Rankingscores together with the data from Live Expeditions help brand to communicatie their vision on sustainablity and quality. Not by refering to a quality mark, where inspections are done by unknown people. But by seeing it yourself.
